Open System Settings, go to Privacy & Security and scroll to Security. Open Anyway asks for Touch ID or your password, under You are attempting to open an app that may cause harm to your Mac or compromise your privacy.

Apple is not able to verify that it is free from malware that could harm your Mac or compromise your privacy. Don’t open this unless you are certain it is from a trustworthy source.

Updates.
To update, run the same line again. Every release is signed with the same certificate, so an update keeps the Accessibility grant: pasting and the volume and brightness readout carry on working.
The script copies Soffit.app to /Applications, quits any copy already running, and opens it. To get rid of it, choose Quit Soffit from its menu bar icon and drag Soffit.app to the Trash — it adds no login item unless you ask for one in Settings.
